A short list, in plain English.
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. We use a small set on this site — none of them identify you personally. Here's the full list and what each one does.

Strictly necessary
These keep the site usable. You can't opt out of them because the site needs them to function.
- gcv-age-confirmed — local storage entry that remembers you've passed the 18+ age confirmation, so you don't see it on every page load.
- gcv-cookie-consent — local storage entry that records whether you've dismissed this banner, so it doesn't reappear.
Analytics
We don't currently run a third-party analytics product (Google Analytics, Plausible, Fathom, or similar) on the public site. If that changes, this page changes — we'll list anything that gets added and what it does.
Affiliate tracking
When you click a link to a listed operator, the destination site may set its own cookies. Those cookies are governed by the operator's privacy policy, not ours. Typically they identify the affiliate (us) and the click, so the operator can attribute a sign-up to the right source.
How to disable cookies
All modern browsers let you clear local storage and cookies, and let you block them per site. Look for "Site settings", "Cookies and site data" or "Privacy" in your browser's settings. Note that if you block our two strictly necessary entries, the age confirmation and cookie banner will reappear on every visit — that's the tradeoff.
